    • Sign in at the Volunteer Desk

    • Collect your lanyard

    • Find your Area Coordinator (they’ll brief you + point you to your spot)

    • Set up your station and do a quick final check before doors open

    • Quick induction + what to expect

    • Welcome from the team

    • Welcome to Country

    • Gates open and guests start arriving

    • Guests enjoy services, activities, and food

    • Volunteers begin their shift

    • Service to end

    • All guests to enjoy live entertainment

    • Event ends

    • Pack-down + return items

2025

Altru Fest

Altru Fest is held at Atherton Reserve, Fitzroy (near Charles St & Napier St). Head to Volunteer Check-In at the entrance near the “Vollie Entry and Check-In” on the Charles St side. Check-in opens from 10:00am, please arrive on time with ID so we can get you signed in and matched with your coordinator.

Map + “where do I go?”

Breaks rotate every 2–3 hours (your Area Coordinator will guide you). When you’re off, head to the Eating Area for a snack + water, or chill in the Volunteer Relaxation Zone.

Portable restrooms are on site. Water taps are available to refill bottles.

If anyone needs help, head to First Aid (and flag your Area Coordinator).

If a child is separated from their family, direct them to Info/Check-In or First Aid.
